Sacred Heart Girls Higher Secondary School, Thalassery, is situated in the heart of Thalassery town, in front of the Thalassery Fort. The realization that constant touch with God will mentally prepare a person to face the realities of life is central to our philosophy. We consider the integration of prayer and work essential for better growth and living. The pioneers and torchbearers of this institution were great visionaries who believed in providing value-based quality education for girls, molding better citizens and society, and thereby bringing our motherland to better culture, traditions, and prosperity.

Sacred Heart Girls High School was upgraded to Sacred Heart Girls Higher Secondary School in the year 2010 with two batches: Commerce and Humanities. The school began on 13th August 2010 with 90 students in the high school classes. In 2013, the classes were shifted to the new building. At present, we have 200 students.

The purpose of starting the school is to uplift and empower women with the right values by providing education for girls in the Malabar coastal area.

Sacred Heart GHSS has achieved greater heights both in academic excellence and in the integral development of the personality of each student, emphasizing their educational, social, cultural, mental, emotional, and spiritual growth. The school strives to provide a stimulating environment to develop the innate talents in each child and to equip them to face challenges in the ever-widening and competitive area of the modern world.
