The sisters of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation started its educational apostolate at Shoranur on 19th January 1929. The Higher Secondary classes started on 31st August 1998 following the delinking of the Pre-Degree course from colleges. This was the First Higher Secondary School in Kerala under the Apostolic Carmel. The School is like a second home for children. The fundamental principle that permeates and governs our Institution is the motto, “Love Serves’’.

Empowerment of women through education has been the dream of the foundress of the Apostolic Carmel Congregation Mother Veronica. True to the vision we strive to give quality education to the girl students. The school has always maintained an excellent track record in Academics as our high pass percentage and rank show. During 2003 Nisha Pariyarath of our school secured first rank in the Science batch.

The students have proved themselves in the state level youth festival competitions as well as sports events. The School is well equipped with science Labs, computer lab, Library, Smart class rooms, Auditorium, chapel and playground. The school places a prominent role in the field of social work also.
There are 319 students studying in two science batches and one commerce batch, in the school. The management, Principal, and staff and highly supportive P.T.A and parents pave way for the success of the students. The school mainly focuses on skill training, making students think analytically and critically and enable them to stand for values and pursue purpose for a better life.
